ABOUT TINKER + NUDGE
Tinker + Nudge is a process-based art studio for kids located in South Minneapolis. What do we mean by "process-based" art studio? It just means we focus on the creative process - not the final product. We offer art classes, workshops, playdates, birthday parties and camps where kids are encouraged to explore a wide range of materials and techniques including sculpture, printmaking, collage, drawing, and painting. We love to say, "I don't know, let's try it!"
And, yes, we get messy!
Jen Geiger, Owner & Art Instructor
Jen has been teaching art to children since 2004. She received a BFA in Studio Art from West Chester University of PA and a Masters degree in Art Education from Pratt (Brooklyn, NY) where she studied the Reggio Emilia approach to the classroom.
Jen grew up outside of Philadelphia (soft pretzels!), met her husband in NYC (bagels!), and moved to Minneapolis (Juicy Lucys!) in 2009.
When out of the classroom, Jen loves to bake, garden, and hang out with her awesome husband and daughter.
